The health journey I have been on these last years has felt like a storm. As hard as it is, it's a storm that Jesus has continually calmed, and He has given me His wonderful peace!
My mom did a little water color painting of the boat in the middle of the storm. Jesus rebuked the wind and said,
"'Peace! Be still!'
Then the wind ceased and there was a great calm."
Mark 4:39
I may be able to have a surgery in a couple of months, and I would appreciate prayer for God's continued peace.
I saw this while I was walking in a parking lot one day. What a reminder of the deepest theological truth!
Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so.
