Seminary Open!

This last week the new Maputo Biblical and Theological Seminary began classes!

The vision of the seminary is to prepare Christian leaders to meet the needs of the churches in Mozambique, and to enable these leaders to plant new churches throughout the country.

There are thirty new students!

The Maputo seminary is still in need of financial support.

Women's Meeting in Intaka

This week we had our Palavra Viva women's meeting at the church in Intaka. After singing and praying together, Mama Henriquetta shared from the Bible.

I shared a verse in Changana that we had memorized at the Bible study in Chamanculo, and all these women were able to memorize it too...

"Tilo ni misava swi ta hundza, kambe marito ya mina ma nga ka ma nga hundzi."

Matewo 24:35

It was really hot...and some of us fell asleep :)

After the meeting we sat outside under the eaves of the church and ate lunch together...carapau fish in peanut curry with rice, and fresh well water.

After the meeting, I tied my personal record for fitting the most people in my car.

I praise God for all that He's doing in the lives of these wonderful women :)
