Last 2 weeks in Mozambique

With the OMS team in Mozambique, along with co-workers from Kenya and the US at the Africa Regional Retreat.

I traveled to Inhambane with Victoria (pastor Abel's wife, second from the right) and Lilian (who works with her husband at the Tsalala church in Maputo and teaches at the seminary, on the far right).

We were able to have a very important visit with Graca Mutombene (behind me), who lost her husband, the pastor of the local Nazarene church. We listened, cried, shared, and prayed, and at the end of our visit we even smiled and laughed together.

I was so thankful for Kara (on the right) who allowed us to use her car for this trip to Quissico, and she came along which was such a blessing! She arrived in Mozambique in February and she's doing wonderful work with music, soccer, and discipleship with youth in Maputo.

Visiting with my dear neighbor, Cidalia and her youngest son. The rest of her children were at school, so she promised to send them over the next morning to visit.

The sunset behind the coconut palms through the front window of the house in Quissico.

The next morning, Cidalia's children came over before they went to school and we talked a little about their lives and about the Bible, God the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It was such a blessing to be able to pray for them!

Later that day, it was so special to see Ermelinda (on the right) who I had been discipling and training in doing Bible studies with the women in her area.

Please pray for God's will, way, and time for my health and for God to send out workers into His harvest.

On my last Sunday, I went to the church in Mavalane where they joyfully praised God for the 3 people who would be baptized that day. God made people so differently and because of Jesus, we can praise our Father as sisters and brothers!

Thank you for your prayer and support!

Little Aimee and Cam School

Little Aimee turned 7 in September and I brought the game Uno and heart glasses to remind her that she is beloved 💗

It was fun to play Uno with the family!

Aimee and her family.

It was great to share a message with the elementary school and also with the middle school/high school students at Christian Academy in Mozambique.

Lina, in the middle, was working at CAM when I was teaching there from 2002-2004. What a joy to see old friends!
