Calanga

In Calanga, where my colleagues, Paulo and Fernanda, are serving.

They're doing Bible studies with several groups in this area, and these precious people are discovering how much Jesus loves them ❤️

Waiting for the Bible study.

It was a blessing to listen to and share with these groups as they get to know Jesus!

Fernanda teaching a Bible study.

We had a special visit from a couple who is growing in Jesus that have chosen to get married. He is a fisherman, like many of the young men in this area.

We visited the beach where the fishermen go out in their boats.

The shallow boats are made with a type of palm, which absorbs water, so the fishermen sit in the water while fishing. Then they put the boats on stands to let the water drip down and dry out.

With Fernanda 😊

Paulo taught me how to fish from the beach.

He caught one, and I caught my first one!

That evening we ate fresh fish for dinner.

There were many whales in the ocean, and there was a giant dried out a whale bone where I was staying.

The next day at church I told the story of Jonah to the children's group.

We talked about how much God loves people all over the world and how powerful God is to save people because He loves us.

With the beautiful children in Calanga ❤️

Intaka and Kongoloti

Sharing at the church in Intaka with Pastor Abel!

Visiting and praying with Tina, Joana, and Josue, whom they gave me the privilege of naming 8 years ago 😊

What a blessing to share an encouraging word with the Somos Nós ministry in Kongoloti.

A special dinner and time of prayer with Pastor Juka (with his wife Elina and daughter Milca), who leads the Palavra Viva churches here in Mozambique.

What a joy to visit my namesake, Aimee, on her 9th birthday!

I shared with her about the example of the mustard seed in the Bible, and we had a precious time of prayer together ❤️
